Matthew Goode's chef inspiration

Matthew Goode said he had plenty of inspiration for this latest role

Matthew Goode has admitted he had plenty of inspiration for his latest role as a crazed chef.

The 32-year-old British actor - who starred in A Single Man and Watchmen and is tipped to be in the running to play Superman in the next movie instalment - has been in Australia filming his latest project Burning Man.

Matthew told the Independent: "I play a b****** chef, he's a really messed-up chap."

But the actor stopped short of pinpointing who inspired the role.

"There was lots of inspiration for the character, but I couldn't possibly say which chefs I modelled him on," he teased.
