James McAvoy has revealed he can't wait to meet the star-studded cast of X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

The Scottish star is set to reprise his role as Charles Xavier for Bryan Singer's sequel, alongside returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence - and some of the cast from the other X-Men films such as Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Ellen Page and Anna Paquin.

"It's nice to see the cast growing by the minute and it'll be good to hook up with all of them. It's just the most incredible cast," he said.

James - who stars opposite Mark Strong in Welcome To The Punch - is also excited to develop his alter-ego for the next instalment.

"He was a cad and almost a playboy and I loved doing that because it kind of redefined him," he said.

"But then we want to keep playing that and you want to keep redefining him and keep taking him through new situations. (I can't wait) to take Charles to a slightly different place than we had him last time, which was a really nice place."

:: Welcome To The Punch opens in cinemas on March 15.

Sagittarius:

Expressing your creative side is strongly advised. Take this opportunity to write, paint or play music. Relatives may not appreciate your work, but that doesn't matter. The important thing is to satisfy your own taste. People who are daring and experimental will appreciate your efforts. Don't be surprised if you're given a chance to showcase your work in a magazine, boutique or gallery. Fame and acclaim can be yours, so long as you're willing to follow your instincts.More
