Melissa McCarthy could be teaming up with Bill Murray for St Vincent De Van Nuys.
The Bridesmaids star is expected to continue her comedic streak in the movie, which will be directed and has been written by Ted Melfi, reported Deadline.
Bill has already signed on to star as a cantankerous war veteran with a penchant for drinking, gambling and prostitutes, who forms an unlikely friendship with a teenage boy, whose parents are going through a divorce.
Melissa - who will next star in Identity Theft opposite Jason Bateman - is expected to win the role of the boy's mother in the comedy drama.
Filming is expected to begin in July, once Melissa is done with road trip comedy Tammy, which she stars in and co-directs alongside husband and producing partner Ben Falcone.
The 42-year-old will also be seen on the big screen with Sandra Bullock in The Heat.
