McConaughey 'reptile' look revealed
Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto both appear startling different in the trailer for new movie Dallas Buyers Club.
Matthew stars in the true story of Ron Woodroof, a man diagnosed with HIV in the 80s and given 30 days to live. Ignoring his doctor's diagnosis he began smuggling in non-approved anti-viral medications into America and dealing them to other Aids patients.
Jared plays a drug-addicted transsexual in the film, who also has Aids, and lost 30 pounds for the role. Matthew lost 50 pounds and has described himself as looking like a "reptile man".
The trailer shows Matthew, sporting a Burt Reynolds-style moustache, living a wild cowboy lifestyle before he is given his diagnosis. He declares: "There ain't nothing that can kill Ron Woodroof in 30 days!"
Determined to live he heads to Mexico to find drugs that can help him and soon attracts a queue of customers who need the same treatment, and is branded "nothing more than a common drug dealer".
The trailer also shows him befriending a nurse, played by Jennifer Garner. He tells her: "I've only got one life, I want it to mean something."
