McKellen and Stewart X-Men again

Sir Patrick Stewart will be back for the next X-Men film

Sir Ian McKellan and Sir Patrick Stewart have signed up for the new X-Men movie, according to reports.

The film, Days Of Future Past, is a follow-up to the 2011 prequel X-Men: First Class.

Director Bryan Singer announced that Sir Ian and Sir Patrick would star in the film.

"Thrilled to announce @ianmckellen118 & @SirPatStew are joining the cast of #XMEN #DaysOfFuturePast #magneto #professorX," he tweeted.

The director also makes a return to the hit franchise after making the first two movies - X-Men and X2 - in the series.

The two stars played Magneto and Professor X in the original X-Men trilogy, but were replaced by Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy as the younger incarnations of the characters.

Michael and James are also set to star in the new film, due out in 2014.

If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
