McTeer joins Fathers And Daughters

Janet McTeer has been cast in upcoming drama Fathers And Daughters.

The White Queen star is joining Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The New York-set movie will focus on a woman (Amanda) as she deals with a crumbling relationship in the present day, and looks back on the relationship she had with her novelist father (Russell) while growing up.

It hasn't been announced who English actress Janet will play.

The script by Brad Desch was on the Black List of Hollywood's favourite unproduced screenplays.

Gabriele Muccino, who took the reins for The Pursuit Of Happyness and Seven Pounds, will direct.

Diane Kruger, Aaron Paul and Octavia Spencer also have roles in the film.
