Mean Girls love for Lohan, Seyfried
Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Seyfried have celebrated the 10th anniversary of Mean Girls on social media.
Troubled actress Li-Lo, who starred in the 2004 hit movie as teenager Cady Heron, took to Instagram to wish the film a happy birthday, reported Us Weekly.
The 27-year-old shared a sketch from the scene where the male character Damian (Daniel Franzese) attends the school's all girls emergency meeting, when he shouted the classic line: "She doesn't even go here!", followed by the caption: "He has a point #happybirthday #10years #MeanGirls."
The film, which was written by Tina Fey and produced by Lorne Michaels, has become a cult classic over the years. It starred Rachel McAdams as clique leader and "queen bee" Regina George, and her Plastics followers Karen Smith (Amanda) and Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert).
Lindsay also posted a film still of herself, Amanda, Rachel and Lacey wearing pink outfits. "Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels @whatsupdanny #MEANGIRLS," she wrote.
Amanda, who made her big screen debut in the film, tweeted: "On Wednesdays we wear pink," along with a picture of her character.
The Les Miserables star also used the Mean Girls anniversary to campaign against bullying.
The 28-year-old posted a photo to her Instagram which read: "You can sit with us."
She wrote: "In honour of the 10 year anniversary of Mean Girls, I alongside @kindcampaign say to you, "You CAN sit with us." Repost this picture with the hashtag #youcansitwithus in an effort to bring an end to girl-against-girl bullying. #youcansitwithus #eventhoughyourenotwearingpink."
