Menzel confirms Frozen 2 plans
Idina Menzel has seemed to confirm that a sequel to Frozen is in the pipeline.
The Broadway star - who voiced Elsa the Snow Queen in the film and sang its Academy Award-winning song Let It Go - told The Telegraph that a follow up is under way.
Quizzed about what she would say of rumours of a sequel and a stage musical, she said: "That they're all in the works."
Idina said she would like to reprise her part in a film, but suggested she wouldn't be in a stage production.
"Not the stage show - I don't know what will happen with that - but the movie hopefully. We'll see," said the 43-year-old.
"I'm just going along for the ride."
Frozen has been a huge hit for Disney, winning two Oscars and becoming the highest-grossing animated film ever.
The movie, featuring the voices of Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff, is also the fifth highest-grossing film in box office history.
Frozen fans won't have to wait too long for another instalment, because a short film, Frozen Fever, is due for release in spring 2015.
