Michael McIntyre's Hello Wembley! tops DVD sales

Michael McIntyre's Hello Wembley! routine has shifted more than a million copies, making it the top-selling stand-up DVD for Christmas and of 2009.

The announcement rounds off a golden year for the British Comedy Award winner, who has had praise heaped on him for his observations about the frustrations of everyday life.

The 33-year-old's second DVD has been flying off the shelves since hitting the shops just five weeks ago.

McIntyre's rise has included a 54-date sell-out arena tour, playing to more than 500,000 people.

His gigs have included six nights packing out London's Wembley Arena plus four at the O2.

Make sure your feelings are deep and true before embarking on an affair.More
