Mike Myers is reported to be the new voice of loveable skunk Pepe Le Pew.
Warner Brothers is developing a live-action and CGI movie on the lovelorn French skunk, and the Shrek star is attached to lend his vocal talents to the lead role, said Vulture.
In the film, Pepe and his unrequited love interest Penelope Pussycat would be CGI characters, with the rest of the movie shot in live action.
It's fitting that Mike used to joke that wearing the heavy faux-latex blubber to play Fat B*****d in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me caused him to sweat so much that "by the end of the day, I was Pepe Le Pew," he was overheard saying.
Created in 1945, Pepe starred in over a dozen animated short films, with one of them - Chuck Jones' For Scent-imental Reasons - even winning the Oscar for best animated short subject (cartoons) in 1949.
Mike is most famous for giving the famous ogre Shrek a Scottish brogue in the four DreamWorks films and for playing the main roles in the Austin Powers franchise.
