Max Minghella is in discussions to join Daniel Radcliffe in the fantasy thriller Horns.
The Social Network star is in talks to play "a compassionate public defender with a hidden dark side" in the movie, with Harry Potter actor Daniel taking the lead as a man suspected of raping and murdering his own girlfriend, Variety reported.
Daniel's character apparently wakes one day to find horns growing from his head that have the ability to force confessions from people, helping him to discover the real killer.
Based on a novel by Joe Hill, the film is being directed by The Hills Have Eyes filmmaker Alexandre Aja. Production is set to begin this autumn.
London-born Max is currently filming The Internship with Will Ferrell and Rose Byrne.
