Mireille has never seen zombie film

Mireille Enos enjoyed her first zombie movie experience

Mireille Enos has admitted she had never seen a zombie film before starring in World War Z.

The Killing actress plays Brad Pitt's wife in his new zombie thriller and said it was a genre she would love to do more of.

"I've actually never seen a zombie movie, this will be my first zombie movie," she said. "But they are so popular right now and it was really fun."

Asked whether she would do another one, Mireille replied: "Well, sure."

World War Z is rated PG13 despite its monster theme, which Mireille said she thought was important.

"I think it's wonderful. Movies keep pushing violence further and further so I think it's great there's a movie families can go to together, especially as it's about family survival."

World War Z is released in cinemas on June 21.
