Chloe Grace Moretz is in talks to star in mystery drama Dark Places.
The Kick-Ass star could be sharing the big screen with Charlize Theron in Gilles Paquet-Brenner's big-screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel, reported Deadline.
Charlize is already on board as protagonist Libby Day, the sole survivor of a massacre in Kinnakee, Kansas. After testifying against her teenage brother as the murderer of her family, she is forced to relive the case 25 years later.
Chloe is rumoured to play a character named Diondra if the negotiations work out.
The 16-year-old actress will next reprise her action role as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass 2, followed by Kimberly Peirce's Carrie remake.
She has also been linked to a role in Lynn Shelton's Laggies with Anne Hathaway and Sam Rockwell.
