Moretz to voice Princess Kaguya

Chloe Grace Moretz will voice the title role in The Tale Of Princess Kaguya

Chloe Grace Moretz is to lead the voice cast for the English-language version of Japanese animated film The Tale Of Princess Kaguya.

The Kick-Ass actress will lend her voice to the title role in the Studio Ghibli film, reported Deadline.

Other stars also on board include James Marsden, James Caan, Mary Steenburgen and Lucy Liu.

The movie is based on an ancient Japanese folk story and follows a man who finds a tiny girl inside a stalk of bamboo, who grows up to be a great beauty but has a secret fate.

It has already been a big success in Japan and went down a storm when it was screened at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

The international version is due to be unveiled in America in October.
