Mulligan heads to the Outback?
Carey Mulligan could be heading Down Under for a new film.
The British star, who is set to start filming Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby in Australia, has joined a sci-fi action adventure called Outback, reported Variety.
The film, which would be set in the Australian outback, would be directed by Seabiscuit filmmaker Gary Ross and written by Nissar Modi, with further details to be revealed.
26-year-old Carey, who made her film debut as Kitty Bennet in Joe Wright's Pride & Prejudice, also made award-winning turns in An Education and Never Let Me Go.
She will next be seen in Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive alongside Ryan Gosling and Steve McQueen's Shame opposite Michael Fassbender.
