Murray takes a presidential role

Bill Murray could be set to play Franklin Roosevelt

Bill Murray could be playing former US President Franklin Roosevelt.

The Ghostbusters star has apparently agreed to star as Roosevelt, who died in 1945, in the big-screen adaptation of the British radio play Hyde Park On The Hudson, reported Vulture.

Directed by Morning Glory's Roger Michell, the film - set up at Focus Features and Film4 - recounts the love affair between the president and his distant cousin Margaret Stuckley on the June 1939 weekend that the British King and Queen visited Roosevelt at his New York cottage.

It was the first-ever visit to the US by a member of the British monarchy.

Shooting on Hyde Park On The Hudson, written by Richard Nelson, who adapted the 2009 BBC play, will begin in July.

Bill is rumoured to be reprising his role as Dr Peter Venkman in the planned Ghostbusters 3, but has yet to read the script for the movie.

Aries:

You will have to defer to others, which makes you anxious. There's never any problem when you're in control. You know how to act quickly and decisively. If you act like you don't care about the outcome of a situation, they won't be paralysed with uncertainty. You have a tendency to make people nervous.More
