Narnia 'dream' come true for Magee
David Magee has revealed that he is "excited" about writing the The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Silver Chair.
The two-time Oscar-nominated screenwriter has signed on for writing duties for the fourth instalment of the fantasy series based on CS Lewis' books, reported Deadline.
"I have always loved The Chronicles Of Narnia and I endlessly imagined myself finding my own passage into Narnia someday," David said.
He added: "All these years later, I'm getting to fulfil that wish just a little bit by writing the film adaptation of The Silver Chair and could not be more excited about it."
The Silver Chair, which will be produced by CS Lewis' stepson Douglas Gresham, Mark Gordon and Vincent Sieber, follows on from 2010's The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader, starring Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian and Will Poulter as Eustace Scrubb.
Liam Neeson and Tilda Swinton also starred alongside Georgie Henley, William Moseley, Skander Keynes and Anna Popplewell as the Pevensie siblings in the last three films.
It is not known if they will reprise their roles for the fourth film, with a director and release date to be announced.
