Liam Neeson has said he would gladly return for Batman 3, but claims he hasn't been asked yet.
The Oscar-nominated actor played Ra's Al Ghul in Batman Begins and there is speculation that the character's daughter Talia Al Ghul would make an appearance in the eagerly awaited follow-up to The Dark Knight, titled The Dark Knight Rises.
But Liam told Empire: "No one's approached me with an offer. I'd like to if it happens."
Rutger Hauer, who played the CEO of Wayne Enterprises in the Batman sequel, has also told Entertainment Weekly that he's not expecting a call from director Christopher Nolan or the studio.
"I think not. I would have heard about it," he said, when asked about revisiting his role.
Christian Bale is confirmed to reprise his superhero alter-ego Bruce Wayne/Batman in the third film, joined by Tom Hardy as villain Bane and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.
The Dark Knight Rises, which Christopher has said will be his last Batman movie, is expected to start filming this summer for a 2012 release.
