New film 'was a dream' for Keira

Andrew Garfield, Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley arrive for the premiere of Never Let Me Go

Keira Knightley said that it was "a dream" working with old friend Carey Mulligan again on Never Let Me Go.

She was speaking as the film had its premiere at the gala opening of the BFI London Film Festival.

The two young British Oscar nominees - who starred in Joe Wright's big screen adaptation of Pride And Prejudice in 2005 - play friends who grow up at boarding school together and are caught in a love triangle with a boy played by The Social Network's Andrew Garfield.

Keira, 25, said: "Carey is a close mate of mine and has been since we were 19, so it was a wonderful opportunity to get to work with her again. It was a dream.

"And Andrew was wicked, so we had a lovely time."

Carey, 25, agreed: "It was great. It's always nice to do a film where you've got a young cast, so that was wonderful.

"Keira and I have been friends for a long time and Andrew was so easy to get to know and hang out with. So, despite the subject matter, it was quite a jolly bunch of people."

The young British actors have all gone on to conquer Hollywood individually.

Keira has starred in several blockbusters, including Disney's Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

Following her awards success this year for An Education, Carey has gone on to star in Wall Street 2, and Andrew has just been cast as the new Spider-Man.

Gemini:

You never do anything in moderation. Attend every fun party, accept every juicy offer and try all the delectable treats spread before you. Avoid unpleasant people and activities like the plague. This should be a time of enjoyment. Leave your list of chores at home. You can always attend to these jobs at another time. If you have a chance to show your creative work to a publisher, manager or agent, go ahead. This is also a great opportunity to go on job interviews, auditions and first dates.More
