New Gone Girl teasers released

Film bosses have unveiled a series of teaser posters for Ben Affleck's Gone Girl.

The new pictures give fans of Gillian Flynn's best-selling book a few clues about director David Fincher's big screen adaptation ahead of its release later this year.

The film follows Nick Dunne (Ben) who is linked to his wife Amy's (Rosamund Pike) death when she disappears on their fifth wedding anniversary.

The new posters are of evidence bags, with one containing the couple's happy wedding photo and another containing some lacy red underwear.

The third has a bit of a note from Amy's diary which says "This man may kill me" and the last contains a scalpel.

A new trailer for the film is also due to be released this week.

The first trailer was unveiled earlier this year and saw Ben's character insisting he didn't kill his wife.

Gone Girl , which also stars Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry and Carrie Coon, will be in cinemas in October.
