A new Mrs Doubtfire film could be set to hit cinema screens.
Robin Williams, who starred in the 1993 hit, is attached to the comedy sequel alongside the original director Chris Columbus , The Hollywood Reporter said.
Williams starred as a man who disguises himself as a female housekeeper in order to spend time with his children following a bitter divorce in the movie, which was a box office smash.
He won a Golden Globe for the role, while the film was also named best comedy/musical at the 1994 ceremony.
The Hollywood Reporter said that a sequel was first mooted in 2001 but failed to take off and that the idea was resurrected this year.
David Berenbaum, who penned 2003 movie Elf, is writing the script for Fox 2000.
Williams is currently filming Absolutely Anything alongside Kate Beckinsale, Simon Pegg and Joanna Lumley.
