Thandie Newton could be set for some Good Deeds.
The British actress will reunite with director Tyler Perry, whom she worked with in For Colored Girls, in the romantic drama, said the Hollywood Reporter.
She will play a single mum who catches the eye of Tyler's character, Glen Deeds.
Tyler, who is writing, directing, producing and starring in the film, takes on the role of the title character, who is about to be married when he finds himself drawn to the single mum.
Thandie - who appeared in Run Fatboy Run and W - will next be seen in Huge alongside Ben Miller. She has recently completed filming The Retreat with Jamie Bell and Cillian Murphy.
