No Guardians cameo for Stan Lee

Stan Lee has revealed that he will not make a cameo in Guardians Of The Galaxy.

The comic book creator, who has made cameos in most Marvel movies, admitted he will not appear on the upcoming Marvel film, because he wasn't involved in their conception.

"This is the one group that I didn't create. I didn't write Guardians Of The Galaxy. I'm not even sure who they all are, but I can't wait to see the movie," he told Ora TV's DweebCast.

John C Reilly, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel and Benicio del Toro will star in the upcoming film, which will be directed by James Gunn.

Stan also expressed his support for Ben Affleck, who will take on the role of Batman in the Man Of Steel sequel.

"I think he'll make a wonderful Batman. He's much better than most people think he is," he said.

"He's intelligent, he's a good actor. He didn't do quite as well in Daredevil as everyone hoped he would, but I think it was the directing more than anything else."

The 91-year-old also said Andrew Garfield is a worthy follow-up to Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man.

"They're both wonderful. They each have their own style and they were both terrific. We were so lucky to have gotten Tobey and we're lucky to have gotten Andrew after Tobey," he said.
