No more rom coms for John Hannah?
John Hannah has said he'd love to make another rom com - but fears he may be too old.
The star of Four Weddings And A Funeral and Sliding Doors, who turns 49 this month, told the Radio Times the clock was ticking if he wanted to take on another romantic role.
"I'd love to do one again. I suppose I'm the wrong age now - nobody wants to see somebody in their late 40s getting in bed with somebody else, do they? I'm probably too old," he admitted.
The Spartacus actor also revealed he had thought the hit film Four Weddings was going to be a turkey.
"At the time I'd been out of work for eight months, so it wasn't as if I was going to turn it down, and yet... Let's just say the script wasn't my kind of thing. That goes to show what I know," he added.
John, who is father to seven-year-old twins with his actress wife Joanna Roth, has an unusual guilty pleasure when he is filming in far-off locations: the ITV show Midsomer Murders.
"I can even indulge when filming abroad as most countries show it. It's like comfort food - like a plate of shepherd's pie," he added.
