Christopher Nolan is officially on board to direct sci-fi drama Interstellar.
The Batman filmmaker will also produce the project alongside his wife Emma Thomas, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.
Chris had been linked to the movie - a co-production between Warner Bros and Paramount Pictures - for some time and earlier this year it was reported that he was going through a "very complex deal-making" process.
The film has been described as "a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding" but so far few plot details are known and it has not been confirmed who will star.
Warner Bros Pictures Group president Jeff Robinov said: "Christopher Nolan is truly one of the great auteurs working in film today, and we're extremely proud of our successful and ongoing collaboration with him and Emma Thomas."
