Old soldier Dick in Masterchef semis battle

Dick Strawbridge

Former military hero Dick Strawbridge will be going into battle again tonight when he faces three of his toughest challenges in Celebrity Masterchef.

The soldier-turned-television presenter, who grew up in Co Antrim, is one of four contenders hoping to be crowned this year’s winner. But he will have to impress some tough critics first of all to earn his place in the final.

Along with actor Neil Stuke, television personality and author Christine Hamilton and actress Lisa Faulkner, Strawbridge will have to cater for soldiers taking part in a battle re-enactment at Sealed Knot.

The four semi-finalists will then have to cater for 800 schoolboys at Harrow, before being asked to conjure up an exquisite dinner hosted by the headmaster of Harrow.

Treat such as gourmet food, beautiful clothes and intriguing books are investments in your happiness.
