Outlaw role for Michael Fassbender?

Michael Fassbender is in talks for Trespass Against Us

Michael Fassbender is tipped for the lead role in a new gangster movie.

The 36-year-old actor is currently negotiating about the part in Trespass Against Us, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is set across three generations of the rowdy Cutler family, who live as outlaws. Michael looks set to play main character Chad Cutler, who is looking to escape his life of crime.

The film was penned by Alastair Siddons and will be directed by British filmmaker Adam Smith.

The Chemical Brothers will write and perform the original score for the movie.

German-Irish star Fassbender was previously nominated for Bafta and Golden Globe awards for the film Shame.

He is currently tipped for an Oscar nod for his performances in the films The Counsellor and 12 Years A Slave.
