Page clueless about Nativity 2

Joanna Page stars in Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger

Joanna Page has revealed she didn't know what to expect when she signed up for new film Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger.

The mum-to-be plays the heavily pregnant wife of David Tennant's schoolteacher character in the festive movie, which was shot in an improvised style with no script.

Joanna confessed: "I didn't have a clue. I met Debbie (Isitt, director), we had a cup of tea, she sort of eased me in gently, and then I turned up for the first day and sort of didn't know what I was doing, what we were filming.

"She wouldn't tell me the plot, story, anything at all, so that was it then, we just started making it up."

Joanna - who is expecting her first child with her husband, former Emmerdale actor James Thornton - also said she's not sure whether the baby will follow in its parents' performing footsteps.

"I was thinking the other day, I said to someone, 'When it comes out, how do you know what it wants to do?' Do you basically have to go, if it's a girl, all the dance classes and everything like that, if it's a boy, all the sports?

"Do you wait to see if they like something or do you basically just have to have everything covered and then see what they like?"

:: Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger is out on November 23.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
