Paltrow only does supporting roles

Gwyneth Paltrow is happy to fit decent supporting roles around being a mum

Gwyneth Paltrow has said she's not had a starring role since she became a mum.

The Iron Man star has two children, Apple, eight, and Moses, six, with Coldplay star Chris Martin.

Speaking about her lifestyle, the actress, 40, told InStyle magazine: "I quit acting for three years to have kids... I wasn't really thinking about my career.

"I've changed my movie career a lot. I've had children... Some people didn't understand the choice that I've made. I don't have the same movie career I used to have when I'd star in movies three times a year. I haven't even starred in movies since I had my kids."

The Avengers Assemble star said: "I look for interesting, biggish supporting parts and try to do one a year. That's my limit. I definitely do things my own way. That's just the way I am."

Virgo:

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
