Paltrow's doubts over Iron Man 4

Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't think there will be an Iron Man 4

Gwyneth Paltrow has apparently revealed that there will not be an Iron Man 4.

The actress, who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in the third instalment alongside Robert Downey Jr and Don Cheadle, admitted that Iron Man 3 may be the final film in an interview with Bleeding Cool, reported GeekNation.

"I don't think there's going to be [an Iron Man 4]. I think we're done with Iron Man," she said.

Both Gwyneth and Robert are reported to be in talks to renew their contracts, with the actor expected to reprise his Iron Man/Tony Stark role in Joss Whedon's Avengers Assemble sequel.

The mother-of-two, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, said she has had positive feedback for the third film, when Pepper gets drawn into the action and even gets to wear the Iron Man suit.

"People have responded so much to Pepper getting to do stuff in this movie, and people are so thrilled by it. Women and girls want to see this, so maybe they should include more women [in future superhero films]," she said.

Gwyneth added: "In the comics, Pepper gets her own suit and she becomes Rescue, a superhero, apparently."

The 40-year-old also said she will gladly jump into her own film and in future Marvel movies, telling Digital Spy: "She continues to exterminate bad guys. I don't think they'll ever do it, but it would be really fun. Robert likes me around so I'm sure I'll pop up here, there or somewhere."
