Paul: Scott is like a god to me

Aaron Paul has revealed that he enjoyed working with Ridley Scott and Christian Bale on Exodus.

The Breaking Bad star plays Joshua in the Biblical epic, which stars the Dark Knight actor as Moses and is directed by British filmmaker Ridley.

"Ridley Scott is one of my heroes. He's just such a god in my eyes in the entertainment world," Aaron told Collider.

"He's incredible. The moment you meet him on set, you realise why he is Ridley Scott. You know why people love him so much."

The 34-year-old continued: "As for Christian Bale, one of the funniest guys I've ever met in my life. That actually surprised me, I don't know why. He is hilarious."

Joel Edgerton plays Rhamses in the drama, with John Turturro and Sigourney Weaver also appearing.

Aaron, who stars in Need For Speed alongside Dominic Cooper and Imogen Poots, explained: " Exodus is the story of Moses coming back to bring the Hebrew slaves to salvation.

"I play one of the Hebrew slaves by the name of Joshua and I become one of Moses' right-hand men. He's got a lot of anger brewing inside of him because he's just been beaten up his entire life so he's ready to finally fight back."

Exodus will be released in UK cinemas in December.
