Paul Walker to lead Hitman reboot

Paul Walker will play an assassin in Agent 47, according to reports

Paul Walker is set to play the titular assassin in a reboot of Hitman.

The Fast And The Furious star will take on the deadly role for a new film called Agent 47, reported Deadline.

He takes over the part from Timothy Olyphant, who played the genetically engineered elite assassin in the 2007 film, a live action movie adaptation of the hit video game.

Paul, 39, is due to start working on Hitman this summer after he has finished promoting the sixth Fast movie, in which he reprises the role of FBI agent turned criminal Brian O'Connor.

Production on Agent 47 is set to start in June and the movie will be shot in Berlin and Singapore.
