Pearce: Film fights left me haggard
Guy Pearce has revealed his fight scenes in the new Iron Man movie made him feel "old and haggard".
The Aussie actor takes on the role of Aldrich Killian in the third instalment of the Marvel comic book franchise and it required plenty of physical action.
Guy confessed: "You feel young and fresh until you start doing fight scenes and then you feel old and haggard, but it was great fun. I got a little bit knocked about but I gave as good as I got."
Despite the physical exertion, the Memento star said it hadn't left any lasting damage.
"There's nothing that has remained, there's probably a few scars that I will look at in the mirror and think 'Oh, did I get that on that movie?'."
Co-star Don Cheadle also reprises his role of James Rhodes and, speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie, said he enjoyed the chance to get physical on set.
"I've been a physical actor all my life and doing it in a role like this is a lot of fun, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
"I had a couple of bumps and bruises but they were badges of honour."
