Simon Pegg and Sienna Miller are set to use their expertise as they join the jury for the 2012 Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award.
The Tintin star and the actress, who was herself a nominee in 2008, are to sit on the influential panel alongside Harry Potter director David Yates, jury chair Pippa Harris and producer Allon Reich, where they will decide on the longlist of eight nominees, from which the British public will cast votes on.
"Joining the jury for the award was such an exciting prospect as it means you get to watch so many brilliant films and performances in the name of research.
"The award has a great track record for celebrating actors that really strike a chord with cinema goers, and with such great up and coming talent out there at the minute I think they're going to be spoilt for choice," Simon said.
The awards honour the best in up-and-coming talent, with previous winners including James McAvoy, Kristen Stewart, Noel Clarke and this year's winner Tom Hardy.
The final list of five nominees will be announced in January 2012, when voting opens to the British public, with the winner revealed at the Orange British Academy Film Awards on February 13, 2012.
