Perlman: Pacific Rim's mind blowing

Ron Perlman stars in Pacific Rim

Ron Perlman has promised Pacific Rim is director Guillermo del Toro's biggest and most mind-blowing film yet.

The Hellboy star has just finished working with the Oscar-winning writer and director on his new sci fi monster movie co-starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba and Rinko Kikuchi.

Ron revealed: "This is my fifth movie with Guillermo del Toro, at the risk of hyperbole he's completely outdone himself, but really he has. This is way bigger than anything he's every done, way more epic, way more mind-blowing and I was not prepared for what I saw."

The actor has worked with Guillermo on 1993's Cronos, Blade II, both Hellboy movies and now Pacific Rim.

He said: "It's always lovely working with him. He's my really, really dear friend and the profound effect that he's had on me as an actor I can't ever put into words."

Virgo:

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
