Peyman joins K-Stew in Camp X Ray

Kristen Stewart will star opposite Peyman Moaadi in Camp X Ray

Kristen Stewart's new film Camp X Ray has cast a leading man in Peyman Moaadi.

He is set to take the other lead role in Peter Settler's politically-charged indie drama, says The Wrap.

Peyman starred in the Oscar-winning A Separation and has also written several famous Iranian films as well as directing.

Kristen will appear in Camp X Ray as a young soldier stationed at Guantanamo Bay and met with hatred and abuse by the Muslim men in charge who becomes good friends with prisoner Ali (Peyman).

Peyman can be seen soon appearing alongside Morgan Freeman in The Last Knights.

He recently worked with James Gandolfini on the pilot of Criminal Justice, which is now in limbo after The Sopranos star's death.

Kristen is also working on drama Sils Maria with Chloe Grace Moretz and is signed up to star again in Snow White And The Huntsman 2.
