Pierce Brosnan begins rehearsals for Mamma Mia sequel
Irish actor Pierce Brosnan has begun rehearsals for the Mamma Mia sequel 'Here We Go Again'.
The Co Louth star revealed in June he would be reprising his role - and his singing voice - for the second instalment of the smash hit Abba-based musical.
On Wednesday the former James Bond posted a picture with co-star Meryl Streep on his Instagram account, writing: "Back in London Town for rehearsals ...summer of 2017 ... "Mamma Mia" ...here we go again!!"
The actor also posted a snap with Abba musician Benny Anderson, captioning the picture: "Never thought this would happen again but, here I was last night once more, with the gracious and brilliant Mr Benny Anderson ...ABBA... recording at Air Studios for the next ..."Here we go again, Mamma Mia" movie. Magic."
Pierce was joined in London by Colin Firth, Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried - all of whom have also signed up to reprise their roles.
Filming is expected to start in Croatia in the autumn.
