Radcliffe enjoying Potter freedom
Daniel Radcliffe has confessed he feels "cut loose" from the role of Harry Potter, as he can choose to accept any film part he wants.
The 21-year-old actor has starred as the boy wizard in the big screen adaptation of JK Rowlings books for the last ten years, but finished filming the final instalment Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II earlier this year, and told OK! magazine he is enjoying a sense of freedom.
Daniel said: "I imagine being like sort of cut loose, just doing whatever I like in terms of projects.
"In the past if I was offered a great job, I'd have to say 'Oh sorry, I'm not available for another year and a half'.
"It's wonderful to be working for that length of time, but it would be quite nice to have the freedom to pick and choose."
The Harry Potter star is currently filming gothic ghost story The Woman In Black and is playing J Pierrepont Finch in a Broadway revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying next year.
Daniel also revealed to the magazine he is a bit of a geek, and it makes dating difficult as girls assume he will be a cool film star.
He confessed: "I love watching the Discovery channel, I'm fascinated by archaeology. I love going to the cricket or the pub. I get some attention, but it's normally pretty fleeting.
"People think when you're famous you're going to be cool. I'm not. The type of girls I'd want to be with wouldn't be the girls who'd want to be with someone like me because of fame.
"I'm usually in a relationship, although I'm not now."
