Redmayne gets tips from Hawking

Eddie Redmayne could be getting advice from Stephen Hawking for his upcoming screen portrayal, after they were spotted chatting together on the set of The Theory Of Everything.

The Les Miserables star, who is playing the young English theoretical physicist and cosmologist in James Marsh's biopic, was photographed talking and laughing to the 71-year-old in between takes, as Stephen watched him film scenes in Cambridge University, where he studied and still resides as the Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the university.

The film, which was written by Anthony McCarten, focuses on Stephen's relationship with his first wife Jane Wilde from their first meeting at Cambridge, when he was able-bodied.

It will also follow the highs and lows of their romance and life together following his diagnosis with motor neurone disease when he was 21.

Chalet Girl's Felicity Jones is set to play Jane, who had three children with Hawking before they split in 1991.

The Theory Of Everything is expected for a release in 2015.
