Redmayne sings for Les Miserables

The English actor, who won a Tony award for his performance in theatre play Red in 2010, is said to be playing revolutionary student Marius in the big-screen adaptation of the famous musical by The King's Speech director, reported Deadline.
It is his character who creates a love triangle with Eponine and Cosette, with Eponine's unrequited love for him as he embarks on a romance with Cosette.
Eddie, who next stars in My Week With Marilyn opposite Michelle Williams and is set for a stage turn in Richard II at Donmar Warehouse in December, would join Hugh Jackman as liberated prisoner Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as police officer Inspector Javert and Anne Hathaway as Cosette's mother Fantine.
Production is set to begin early next year for a December 2012 release.
