Redmayne sings for Les Miserables

Eddie Redmayne is being linked to a role in Les Miserables

Eddie Redmayne is rumoured to be tuning up for a role in Tom Hooper's Les Miserables.

The English actor, who won a Tony award for his performance in theatre play Red in 2010, is said to be playing revolutionary student Marius in the big-screen adaptation of the famous musical by The King's Speech director, reported Deadline.

It is his character who creates a love triangle with Eponine and Cosette, with Eponine's unrequited love for him as he embarks on a romance with Cosette.

Eddie, who next stars in My Week With Marilyn opposite Michelle Williams and is set for a stage turn in Richard II at Donmar Warehouse in December, would join Hugh Jackman as liberated prisoner Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as police officer Inspector Javert and Anne Hathaway as Cosette's mother Fantine.

Production is set to begin early next year for a December 2012 release.

Virgo:

Read the fine print on a contract. If you're not happy with the proposed terms of a deal, renegotiate. Don't be afraid to drive a hard bargain. You may not realise it, but you have a great deal of power. People are willing to pay good money for someone with your intelligence and experience. If you undersell yourself, you will set a dangerous precedent. Someone will ask you to do something that goes against your conscience. Obey your principles, even if it means making an enemy.More
