Matt Reeves has revealed he still "desperately" wants to make his Invisible Woman movie.
The filmmaker's passion project - an original sci-fi story which he has previously said is Hitchcockian in style - has been in the pipeline for some time but so far hasn't got off the ground.
But Matt told ComingSoon.net that he is still planning to make The Invisible Woman, possibly after he has completed the follow up to his current film Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.
"That's still a movie I desperately want to make," he said.
"If I don't make it right before this one, I'll make it right after the next ape film."
The Cloverfield director suggested he would probably get to the movie after the next Apes project, because that film is likely to be "such an enormous undertaking to get going".
Plans for The Invisible Woman were first revealed in 2008 and although cast details aren't known, at one point Naomi Watts was attached to the film.
