Robert Redford takes on elements

Robert Redford is set to star in All Is Lost

Robert Redford is in talks to star in drama All Is Lost.

The "one man show" is JC Chandor's follow-up to his directorial debut, financial crisis drama Margin Call, reported Deadline.

Robert, who last directed political drama The Conspirator, would play Jeremiah Johnson, a heroic character who braves the elements to survive in the "man versus nature" drama, which is set to be filmed at the giant water tanks in Mexico where parts of Titanic and Pearl Harbor were also filmed.

The filmmaker met the Oscar-winning actor at the Sundance Film Festival, which Robert founded with his wife Lola, and was said to be "so taken" by him that he wrote the movie around him.

Production is expected to start in May 2012.

Robert's next movie sees him in upcoming political thriller The Company You Keep alongside Shia LaBeouf and Susan Sarandon, which he also directed.

Virgo:

Read the fine print on a contract. If you're not happy with the proposed terms of a deal, renegotiate. Don't be afraid to drive a hard bargain. You may not realise it, but you have a great deal of power. People are willing to pay good money for someone with your intelligence and experience. If you undersell yourself, you will set a dangerous precedent. Someone will ask you to do something that goes against your conscience. Obey your principles, even if it means making an enemy.More
