Robert Pattinson has insisted that he's a "freak" in real life.
The Twilight actor has achieved heartthrob status thanks to his role as vampire Edward Cullen, but during an interview to promote the final film in the franchise, he admitted he isn't nearly as cool as his alter-ego in real life.
Asked on Jimmy Kimmel's TV show in the US what it's like promoting the movies around the world, R-Patz confessed: "It's really boring.
"I'm a freak. I just want to stay in my hotel room all the time."
The actor, who has rekindled his romance with co-star Kristen Stewart after she admitted cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders, also revealed his on-screen kissing technique needs a little work.
"For a series that basically culminates in every single scene [where] I end up kissing someone, I have extraordinarily loud little pecks. It sounds like I'm walking around in wellies. My lip is like a vacuum. That's not cool - it's not sexy at all!" he laughed.
The last film in the vampire saga, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, is due out this month.
