Mark Ruffalo has revealed he was green with envy over Chris Hemsworth's Thor outfit.
The US actor, who portrays the Incredible Hulk in Avengers Assemble, admitted he initially thought the godly costume was cool - but his excitement waned after he realised how heavy and hot the robes became.
"I had envy for Chris, because I had a little Lycra sweatsuit on. On some days, I had to wear a spandex mani-tard, which was man-cancelling. After a while, my envy wore off, but at first glance, I was like, 'That's a great costume'," he said.
"They had to connect an air conditioner to him everywhere he went because he was so hot. He's a poor dude!"
Mark is the third actor to step into the Incredible Hulk's shoes on the big screen, following previous incarnations by Eric Bana and Edward Norton.
"I think those other Banners were great, and I didn't want to do it unless we could honour them, and at the same time, make it something that was our own," he explained.
"I feel like this is a continuation of them. I think, the guy's been on the run longer, he's older, he's more world-weary, he has a wry sense of humour about his situation."
Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston and Jeremy Renner also star in Avengers Assemble, which is in cinemas now.
