Run, Fatboy, Run (12A)

Brit comedy's friendly feel

Run Fatboy Run is now showing at cinemas across Northern Ireland

Can anyone buy Ross from Friends as a Big Screen movie director? Stranger still to see David Schwimmer at the helm of a quintessentially British comedy.

(12A, 100 mins) Simon Pegg, Thandie Newton, Hank Azaria, Dylan Moran

Pegg - co-writer with Michael Ian Black and fairly fresh from his huge hit with Hot Fuzz- discovers the love of his life, Newton, who he abandoned at the altar five years previously, is about to hitch up with high-flyer business type Azaria (the man of a hundred voices in The Simpsons). Winning her back somehow involves running a marathon. Go figure.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

It feels like friends are few and far between. If you're not getting the help you need, ask why. It may be because you have been so preoccupied with work. Skipping special occasions and failing to return phone calls causes resentment. You have to be more engaged to sustain loving bonds. Call someone you've missed. It may take a few tries, but it's worth the effort. Be forthright about why you have been out of touch. Communication is the cornerstone of every healthy relationship.More
