Russell Brand is set to star in the film The Hauntrepreneur, according to reports.
The movie centres around a family who are struggling to adjust to life in a new town, Variety reported.
They hire a man, who calls himself The Hauntrepreneur, to help and he creates a haunted house, filled with strange characters.
Paramount, who are making the film, have not yet decided on a director.
The story is based on a script by Con Air and High Fidelity screenwriter Scott Rosenberg.
Arthur star Russell, who recently announced his separation from pop star wife Katy Perry, will be seen next in the musical film Rock Of Ages, alongside Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta Jones and Alec Baldwin.
