Ruth Wilson has revealed she is going to "cowboy camp" with Johnny Depp to train for The Lone Ranger.
The Luther star plays female lead Rebecca in Disney's new big-screen adaptation of the cowboy classic, starring Johnny as sidekick Tonto and Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger.
Ruth revealed: "That starts in the new year so I've got to go to cowboy camp and learn to ride horses and all sorts and lasso things, so I'm really excited about that."
The 29-year-old actress also stars in Joe Wright's new film adaptation of Anna Karenina with Keira Knightley.
She revealed: "It's out of this world. It's like nothing you'll ever see ever I think. He's being very brave and very ambitious and he's going to pull it off, he's amazing."
Ruth - who starred in a TV adaptation of Jane Eyre - insisted there was no pressure recreating the classic.
She said: "Not really - I've done it before with Jane Eyre, so no.
"They keep doing them so I think you have to reinvent them. People love the stories so they will always go and watch them, but the job of the director Joe is to bring something new to it, which he is doing."
