Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges have hosted a special screening of their new film RIPD for heroes of the Boston Marathon bombing.
The stars - who shot the film in Boston - met with first responders including police, firefighters and Massachusetts Institute of Technology officers, who helped victims following the attack in April.
Ryan and Jeff, who play deceased cops in the paranormal thriller-comedy, posed for pictures and chatted with the guests at the event at Regal Fenway.
Jeff, 63, joked to the Boston Globe that one of the toughest parts of making RIPD was "when I was riding" co-star Ryan.
Ryan, 36, added: "Jeff at one point rides me down the side of a building... Yeah. He had to buy me a couple of drinks before we shot that scene!"
RIPD was directed by Robert Schwentke and also stars Kevin Bacon and Mary-Louise Parker. It is due to be released later this year.
