Sam Keeley joins Cooper's Chef

Sam Keeley has been cast alongside Sienna Miller and Bradley Cooper in culinary drama Chef.

The young Irish actor made his feature debut Stateside in 2012′s This Must Be The Place opposite Sean Penn and has landed a role in Ron Howard's In The Heart Of The Sea.

Now the rising star is set to join Sienna, Bradley and French actor Omar Sy in John Wells' film, which tells the story of a chef whose hard partying lifestyle has landed his career in the doldrums, so he is determined to redeem himself by creating a new three-star Michelin rating.

Sam will take the role of David, a chef recruited by Bradley's Adam Jones to work in his kitchen, who offers Adam a place to crash when he ends up homeless.

The Weinstein Co film comes in the wake of Jon Favreau's indie film of the same name, which sees him playing a chef who decides to open a food truck.

Sam will next appear in Monsters: Dark Continent, the sequel to Gareth Evans' sci-fi thriller.
